BELGIAN ROYAL STATE VISIT TO UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF HANOI, VIETNAM
On 31 March, an official delegation from the Belgian royal state visit to Vietnam visited our ambitious Campus Development Project for the renewal of the United Nations International School of Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi).
Led by HE Cieltje Van Achter, Flemish Minister for Brussels and Media, Government of Flanders, and HE Rudi Vervoort, Minister-President, Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, the delegation was given an introduction of the project through a guided tour, an exhibition and a presentation by the partners. The project aims at the phased renewal of the campus as a modern, inclusive, and future-proof learning environment for its diverse international community, this for both the renewal of the buildings and the reshaping of the outdoor space.
The fact that four companies with a Belgian connection on the other side of the world are cooperating in a multidisciplinary way on the educational infrastructure of tomorrow is unique and underlines the importance of international cooperation with strengthened ties between Belgium and Vietnam.
